Skybound Tactics

Skybound Tactics mixes squad strategy with cards. You command a fleet of airships and draw maneuver and weapon cards each turn, so no two fights play out the same.

The learning curve is real. My first few runs ended badly because I hoarded cards instead of committing. Once I learned to spend boldly, the game opened up.

It's demanding for mobile, but the deep systems make it worth the effort if you like a real strategy challenge.
