Big Bass Fishin
Big Bass Fishin is one of those games that sneaks up on you. It looks simple on the surface: cast a line, wait, reel in. But the more you play, the more you notice how much depends on where you aim, how patient you are, and how you handle the fish once it bites.
The controls are built for one hand. You flick to cast, then tap and hold during the fight to keep tension in the right zone. Pull too hard and the line snaps, too soft and the fish shakes loose. It took me a few tries to feel the rhythm, and once it clicked, the whole thing became weirdly satisfying.
What I liked most was the pacing. Sessions are short by nature, and there's no pressure to grind. Different spots have different fish, so I kept coming back just to see what would show up next. It's a calm game, and it's honest about being one.
